Building Bridges of Hope Within the Community

Our Faith

At Living Hope Community Church, we strongly believe in doing something about the faith in which we have placed our lives. We not only believe that our doctrine of faith is a sacred trust to be always preserved and taught in its purity, but this faith teaches that we have a life to be lived and a Gospel to be preached.

This is reflected in the following core values represented in our name:

Love for God and others is our motivation for all we say and do.
(Luke 15; 1 Corinthians 13; Nehemiah 3; Luke 10:1, John 13:34-35)

Integrating the love of Christ into our culture with relevance, sensitivity, humility and intentionality is both Biblical and necessary to reach our society.
(1 Corinthians 9:19-23)

Volunteers are vital in helping the church reach its full redemptive potential. We are dependent on each person to use their spiritual gifts, talents and abilities to serve God and the church community.
(Psalm 133:1; Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 12, 14; Ephesians 4)

Inviting unchurched people to church services, events and Hope Groups is essential because lost people matter to God and ought to matter to us.
(Luke 5:30-32, 15, 19:10; Matthew 18:14)

New ministries established with vision, purpose and leadership will be sustainable.
(Nehemiah 1, 2; Romans 12:8, Acts 6:2-5)

God's Word is the primary means of life transformation. All sermons, classes and literature will be doctrinally pure according to the Bible.
(Romans 12:7; 2 Timothy 3:16-17)

HOPE Groups are the vehicle by which life change and community happens best. This includes vulnerability, authenticity, discipleship, community and accountability.
(Acts 2:44-47; Luke 6:12-13)

Open hearts to God's leading in our individual lives will help us become fully devoted Christ followers. This includes stewardship of our time, treasure and talents and the ongoing pursuit of Kingdom goals.
(1 Kings 11:4; 2 Corinthians 8:7)

Prayer connects us to the heart of God and releases His power to accomplish His will.
(Luke 18, Colossians 3:2)

Excellence is the standard for all we do. Excellence honors God and inspires others.
(Proverbs 27:17; Colossians 3:17; Malachi 6-14)
